SRCC Writing Intern Recognition

As Summer 2024 draws to a close, we would like recognize our two SRCC writing & web publishing interns for contributing to our blog this season.

Chloe Tasso lives in Shark River Hills and is a rising senior at Neptune High School. While she is now an Intern for the SRCC, she has been a volunteer at events since childhood. Her love for the environment has been a constant in her life and her goal is to continue working to protect it. Wildlife and their issues concerning their safety are closest to her heart. Chloe hopes to continue to raise awareness about wildlife and environmental issues and plans to participate in many future cleanups and outreach events.

Evan DeAngelis, is an Environmental Policy student at Rutgers University, lives in Neptune City NJ, and served as an Intern for the SRCC. Evan has had an interest in Environmental protection, the outdoors, and community service for over a decade, including volunteering for SRCC, Allaire Community Farm, Monmouth County Parks, and the American Littoral Society. His focus has been on habitat restoration and land management, a focus he intends to carry forwards into his career.
